About the blog: I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember being alive, and I jumped on the internet bandwagon around 2000, starting with building my own S Club 7 fan site (cringe). From there it was a natural evolution to blogging, and I started my current blog on a whim while I was still a broke university student.
Today I’m striving to find balance in life, which is what my blog is all about. There’s a lot of personal finance talk – living for today while saving for tomorrow – along with thoughts on career, relationships, food, travel, and the Big Life Questions.

A piece of advice for new bloggers: Keep plugging away, and don’t give up! It’s easy to get discouraged early on, but keep creating great content and interacting with other blogs and it will all pay off. And never lose sight of WHY you’re blogging – stay true to yourself and find your own voice, because that’s what makes you unique and make your blg stand out.
